What To Expect

There is no cost for your initial consultation with the orthodontist, and no referral is necessary. During your first visit, Dr. Strange or Dr. Hancock will meet with you and review your dental history and examine your teeth. He will review the treatment options available and discuss a timetable for the best time to begin treatment. If you are ready for treatment, x-rays will be taken and impressions or "molds" of your teeth will be made so the orthodontist can make an accurate diagnosis and prepare a detailed individualized treatment plan.

On your second visit, Dr. Strange or Dr. Hancock will discuss your specific orthodontic challenges, review your comprehensive treatment plan, explain treatment options for your specific needs, and give you an estimate of the length of time for your treatment. They will also review the treatment cost, explain your insurance benefits, and discuss several different payment and financing options.
